This happens about every 6 months. My gas pedal sticks when accelerating from a dead stop. Usually I take it to the dealer and complain during an oil change. They say they spray something into the throttle body (near the air intake) and the problem goes away. Today it was stuck so much that I had to press down really hard to get it to move. Any ideas on why this happens or how to fix it permanently?

The same thing has been happening to my car too! Except it all started when I got my Header installed. It's kinda scary sometimes though .

 

happens to me at times too..the dealer replaced my acclerator cable..and the same problem keeps happening..at a stop i have to push a lil harder to get the car going..sometimes it makes the car jump ahead..i dont know what the problem is..i think it something with the gas pebal..can anyone help??
