gas pedal

Is our gas pedal removable ?
I was checking some things today with the scanner and seen my tps is showing 11.2-11.6 to 60% and if I really push the pedal hard to the floor I can get 65%.

I want to remove the pedal to see if the added stroke will allow me to get the throttle body wide open.
Then a can make I choice how to mod either the pedal or arm.

I'm sure at 60% I'm lacking alot of flow.

Well I took a chunk of the botom of the pedal and now tps reads 71% to the floor and the tb blade is opened a little more.
I can most likely take off some more from the pedal.

I might have to try to bend the shaft a little up so I can get the TB all the way open.

It does seam like the engine is pulling better WOT.

^^^ yea why mess with the pedal when it's the cable that actuates the throttle body and sensor??

IIRC you used the stock pulley on the larger TB? I didnt and I get the proper amount of accuation.

BTW - a TPS is not supposed read 100%. It should read ~90% at WOT.

Throttle cable is tight.

My TB pulley wheel is larger than oem so it needs to pull futher to acheive the same pull.
And I'm trying to go around more work to the TB by installing a smaller wheel.

I used the larger pulley that came with it.
larger pulley makes it open up slower with the same amount of pedal.

Yea I think 88% would be good for me.
mine reads to 11.6 sitting
Right now it's seeing 71% wot from the pedal.
I will go try to grind some more off the pedal in a few to see how much more pull I can get.

^^^ oh my badd... makes total sense now

so technically the pedal is more forgiving now.. unlike normally u touch it at all and it leaps forward... everyone who gets into the cl has no clue how to drive it normally lol... they're use to less power and less sensetivity
