Gas mileage after CT headers

How has everyone's gas mileage been affected after installing CT headers?

Seems to be a bit better with the icebox and headers. No big difference though

Yeh... it improved... I had the CT intake and headers installed at the same time though.

Good point. For highway driving, gas mileage improved. But when I'm on it, gas mileage has decreased compared to fully stock.

I was just wondering because I think mine has gone down about 30 miles per tank. I'm hoping that it's just because i've been cranking the A/C, but I thought I used the A/C the same way last summer too.

I think the pure nature of modded cars leads to increased peddle usage. Hence, lower gas mileage. But if you're just cruising on the freeway, I bet you gas mileage has improved.

For instance, after I had the S/C installed, I average nearly 30 MPH on the freeway. So there was no change in my gas mileage. However, cruising around the express ways, looking for someone to race, my gas mileage was far worse than before the S/C.

Agreed. Theoretically my gas mileage should've went up with icebox and headers, the engine feels much smoother and efficient, but in reality my foot made it go way down.
