Gas mileage?

I am getting about 22-24 mpg. Light comes on usually around 310-320miles to the tank and then I fill her up to about 13-13.7gallons of gas. u?

(36) miles round trip to work on L.A. fwys and I get 24/25mpg. Out of town trips are 28/31mpg, depending on how lucky I feel.

Wow, 230 is extremely low. Like dukmahsik said, I'm getting about 23-24 on a 6-Speed, and that's driving a little more aggressive than the norm. On a tank I'm getting around 330-350 miles.

I maxed out at 29.2mpg last week. Just added a new KN air filter thinking I might get 1mpg more or something. I also cut back on my aggressive driving, try not to go WOT a lot and run it up to the redline.

In town I go to 5th gear quickly and on highways always run 6th.

230 in the city might not be bad, but I'd expect more. Maybe your racing off every light or something?

Maybe anothercls is right, maybe we are driving too fast because I am getting around 23mpg too. The strange thing is I got better gas mileage and I felt like I had more power before I got my 65K mile service. Could my dealership have messed something up?

Yea I get about the same too and I'll floor it about 25% of the time. I only drive city now, no highway but maybe my cars messed up? Roughly 215-230 miles full tank 15-16mpg

ok well chek this out...in my typical week I drive about 130 miles on the highway and then I drive another 150 miles (roughly) in the city before the light goes off...so its like a 40/60 drive, and I average around 19-21 mpg off of that. Depends if the mileage changes a little bit, and how aggressive I drive. The other weekend I drove up to Solvang from L.A. and back and some other places. Anyway, I ended up driving like 75% fwy, 25% city and I got 24mpg. I feel that these #'s are pretty consistent with the #'s given for our cars. I have yet to take an entire drive on the highway so I can't comment on that. Let me know if mine sounds right

Last summer I got a max of 360 city/highway, and on a road trip I got 450. Through the winter I have not gotten more than 310, and I drive pretty agressively.

when you say avg is 300 blah blah....you guys mean that this is the # you get JUST as the light comes on? or is this on nearly an empty tank of gas. Because when I fill up, I'm usually between 280-320 miles and I fill up about 13.8-14.4 gallons.

I get 21 to 24 MPG depending on how many highway miles I drive. Just city driving, 21+ consistently. I'm only aggressive when the situation allows for aggressive driving. I drive very conservatively during the rush hour drives to and from work. Do you think the 6MT makes that much difference? And how hard are you pushing your car to average 17 MPG? I got 17 MPG on my first tank but I raced her at every light ... I really wanted to know what she could do. Now (3 months later), I don't push her that hard because I know her limits.
