gains from 100 octane gas for forced induction.

i think that 100 octane is good because the computer wont retard timing at that octane,what do you guys think?

Well it all depends Eric.... are you running a FULL tank of 100 or are you running 3/4 tank of 94 and 1/4 tank of 100??

I read somwhere, , you run only the octane you need to eliminate knock, and anything above that, you won't benefit from. Just something I read on one of these boards.

No, not really. If knock is not present on a lower octane fuel, going higher won't help. But the higher octane will allow you to run more boost before knock occurs.

But IMO, there may be minor, inaudible knock, with the blower. But the ECU hears this and pulls timing enough to take care of it. Running the higher octane fuel would then allow the car to run without being retarded ( :o )...
