G35C tried to race, but got pulled over!

If you read this, they got you with the helicopter.

It happened on Saturday around 5pm on 66W.

There was a mini-van in the left lane. The G35 darted around it, I hadn't even turned on my passport yet, but I gunned it too, doing 90, and pulling up on the G35, I saw a cop in the middle lane.

Sure enough, he came out, and hit the lights. I immediately downshifted and got over to the right. I knew that he had me. He goes flying by, and pulled over the G35.

I'm certain this guy got a ticket, because my girl pointed out the helicopter they used to nab him. DAMN!

Too bad he got pulled. I was in the mood for a good race!

Better luck next time and sucks for that G35c driver. Was his car red by chance?

I was terrified. My girl had the decector in her lap about to hand it to me. I told her to put it away when the cop pulled out. They are illegal here, and I've heard stories of them putting them behind your back tire and making you back over them. Its a $75 fine too.

I can't get ANY tickets. My insurance is outrageous, and I will be in the clear as of FEB.

That's crazy. They are illegal for use but not illegal to own. If they were illegal to own, stores wouldn't be allowed to sell them. Maybe the laws are different where you live; but I haven't heard of that before.

using helicopters has gone crazy....now on the weekends (snoopy)our local PD heli flies around all over the place....one night, there was a line of about 150cars following me(dont know why, i wasnt the fastest), but it was cool for the respect factor...anyways, the heli spotted us and spotlighted our line of cars, fortunately we werent racing and he eventually left us alone....little did we know, he still watched the line of cars and i guess called in where we were heading cause within 30mins the cops showed up and told us to leave....oh well unmarked, normal daily driver cars and heli's...the cops just have us marked now i guess....it isnt fair

Such is the main drawback about having a HOT car like the G-coupe.
