G 35 Coupe

hey guys im not trying to be a troll or anything but i am a member of this board and was about to buy an 01 CL-S but instead i decided on a g35 coupe i have seen many ex CL-S owners convert over to the g35 and would strongly reccomend, but heres my racing story

i was at a red light when i see a mid 20s looking guy pull up in a black cl-s looked liek he had comptech exhausts and a drop and some other stuff done to it we both got off the line great but by the time we i was at a 115mph i had him beat by an easy 4-5 car lengths
the guy was very nice and said he underestimated the G and would probably get one soon because of hte continuous CL-S tranny probs

Nice run man! Congrats on the new G35. I raced a G35 (looked completely stock) a few weeks ago down the interstate, starting from about 50mph. He had me everytime. I can only imagine what they'll do when modded .

Nice kill.

What color/tranmission is your G35c?

Also why did you consider an 01 CL and not a newer one but then get a brand new G35c? I'm guessing price must have not mattered much.

Welcome. As long as you have some good stories to bring to this board I wouldn't consider it trolling. Are you auto or manny? I would think a CLS auto with headers and Icebox would be a good match against a G35c auto (although we don't know if the guy had headers or not).

Very nice. I've won some, and I've lost some. It depends on the other driver. :o
