FYI: GroundEffects & spoilers 101
To make a true kit to be effective (more downforce, less drag) w/o any wind tunnel testing, one should TRY to stay w/ original car's bumper design. All cars are tested by the manufacturer at high speeds for stability, drag, ect...
Therefore, make car lower to the ground, lower front spoiler to make less air entering the front creating a vacumm (expansion tunnel) creating low pressure under the car = neg. lift or downforce.
Things that would mess up your cars' drag coeff. & downforce:
1. When U buy those fugly bumper replacement kit (JTAutoSport for example), it would prob. mess up your aerodynamics & drag.
2. Springs that sets your rears lower than your fronts (opposite of the rake setup) creating lift. U'll feel floaty on high speed.
