About 2 1/2 weeks ago I was driving my 540 in Annandale, VA (for those in NOVA). I pull up to a red light and this Black TypeS CL with the driver, I'd say about 18 or so. He rolls down the window and asks me "what's dee-nun", I said it's "die-nan and they make aftermarke stuff for BMWs".

CLS - what have you done to your car?
Me - just the exhaust and big wheels
CLS - what is that a 525 or 528?
Me - 525
CLS - your car looks pretty low
Me - not stock suspension, the wheels must be misleading the ride height
CLS - is your car fast?
Me - I don't know, it's a V6 with 185HP, the exhast probably gave me about 100HP
CLS - dude you're crazy no way an exhaust can do that
Me - I don't know, but you're probably right, hey do you wanna do a friendly run, I always wanted to see what this 185HP car could do against that 260HP car, you are stock right?
CLS - yeah I'm stock but I kill BMWs all the time and I would probably beat you petty bad too
Me - no problem, just want to see how my car would hold up
CLS - sure, nice talking to you
Me - yeah me too

Light turns green eventually, and he actually let's me take off first, I guess he thought he was gonna walk me down...too funny, little did he know...MUHAHAHAHA

Well, yes and no I guess...my car doesn't have 540i on it anymore, it has DINAN 5 on the trunk.

JT 3.2TL, I was going to tell him but he came out and asked me if my car was a 525 or 528 so I just playe along.

QuickCLS, I basically destroyed him.

Mike, just stick Dinan5 on your trunk and you get 100HP brotha!

I know the kid lives around here, I think it's one of NovaWhiteTypeS's friends. I told Nova and he just laughed and said he may know him.

What does a Dinan5 actually consist of? I killed one badly a couple of weeks ago. We went at it from a stop at a freeway on-ramp. It was at about 5:30 in the morning. Freeway was empty. We took it up to about 150 and he was more than 5-7 cars behind me. I asked him what he had on the car afterwards and he said all Dinan minus the supercharger. The car had Dinan 5 emblems and a 540I emblem.

What do you drive?

 

I drive a wrx, an s2k and an s4. But on that particular day I was driving the s4.

 

Nice lineup! What have you done to your S4? I know those things can fly!

 

I'm running an apr chip, 3" downpipes, custom 3" exhaust and the apr bipipe.

 

That is a nice lineup. How much do you pay per month all together for all of the cars? How much is the insurance for them?

 

Sweet, sounds like the same setup my buddy has! He put down like 265HP and like 310TQ...man his car has torque! But I do very well against him, but he's still faster.

 

that was like some homo in an auto mustang gt i pulled up next to with a body kit and heavy ugly ass chrome 18's. i was like that looks nice he's like "i got intake/exhaust/headers/lowered/tires what do you got, i was like just 2 mufflers, yeah that was entertaining when i kept walking.
