Kinda reminds me of this meet we had in CT outside of the movie theater the Friday night Fast and the Furious came out.
There must have been 200 cars, ranging from Rice, super-rice, muscle cars, to everything in between.
Funny part... This guy in a Supercharged 2001 Camaro SS (yes, Supercharged) was showing off his engine. Some ricer guy comes up and starts talking smack about American crap, etc..
Said he would take the SS no problem.
Funny part is this guy was running a '99 Civic SI with only intake, headers, fart-pipe, huge wing and almost scraping the ground.
They end up betting $100 and line up.
It wasn't even funny. The Civic looked like it was standing still. After the race, everyone was laughing so hard at the Civic guy, he had to leave.
What was he thinking???? A Supercharged SS??? Even if he was running a 100-shot, he still would not have taken the Camaro

I guess the Kid learned an expensive lesson.... I can't believe people would bet that kind of money on races when they have no idea what they are running agianst.. stupid. It's not like a Camaro SS is a Sleeper... it's obvious the only thing it has going for it is POWER.

You guys all beleive the whole story????????? It sounded like some author or movie buff writing a fuckin script.
Yeah the SS would romp the Vr6 but the dude fucked up his story with all the little details. I say BS until I see the video................btw who the fuck still has one of those huge VCR camcorders these days anyways?????

it's ignorance like that which makes me proud to be an import owner. it gives me all the more reason to make my car run faster than those muscle cars so when i beat them, they will shit a brick! literally, hahahhaa
