Looks great! Did you take the road lamps out completely? It would be cool to have them still light up from behind the new "road lamp grill" Good job.

Nice, gives that car the NASCAR look to it. When is the TIDE add going on your hood? Actually you beat me to the punch, I want to do that too. Looks great, take some pics from a distance to see how it looks from far back.

too much mesh for me. John has mesh from the inside, and IMO it looks much better. I wish I had a digital camera to take pics.

Another Idea I wonder how that bottom grill would look if you painted it black?

Eclipse,

It turned out REAL good. He also painted the part of the grill which is charcoal plastic to red(matching his car) very sweet. I'll take pics next time I meet with him.

Beautiful man.......
How difficult was it to put the mesh in your fogs and space between it? Was it difficult to take the bumper off?
Can you pls give us some instructions?
Thanks..........

What about the bottom though. How'd you do that?

Also, what bulbs do you have in your car?

It all took me just over 2 hours to do. The roadlamp mesh I formed around the road lamp and bent it to shape. Then trimmed it back and test fitted both sides. The Center grill was measured height, and length the bent using sheetmetal bender, and ends were cut on measured angle. I used 4 small black screws that are about 1/4 long and very thin into the top and bottom then snapped in the mesh and fit it over the heads of the screws... tightened down and voila....

So your road lamps are still behind the mesh?

No I pulled them out since they:

A) are useless as a light source.
B) block airflow to the CAI.
C) aren't real foglights.
D) Look great until you turn them on....
E) Are the cause of much pain when there is fog and they are about as effective as lightning bugs for torches.
F) Refer to A->E

I will be putting in the PIAA Catz once I get the Acura foglight switch and circular trim to put into the grill cutouts

Anyone know where to get some powder coating done down in SoCal?

I want to do at least the top part of the grill but I want it painted so it doesn't look like I have chickens rather than horses under the hood. LOL

Maybe I gotta see this in person, but I just think there is just too much mesh going on. The grill I can understand more or less I guess, but the buttom part is just too much rice-a-roni for me.
