I witnessed one on the Hutchinson River Parkway years ago, A guy on a motorcycle zipping up between traffic and went by Blazer just as the Blazer decided to switch lanes. The guy on the motorcycle went off the side of the road and down the hill until a very large tree stopped his forward momentum. I stopped to see If I could help but I didn't even bother to go down the hill as I could see his head facing the wrong direction and his body bent in unusual places.
That is what made me finally decide not to buy a bike.
That guy was riding like a Idiot but after driving for 15 years I have realized something. You just don't see them very easily. I have has a couple of close calls with motorcycles as I just couldn't see them.
