Fuel shutoff at redline

Have any of you guys have severe problems when redlining in the SportShift mode? Has the fuel shutoff not kicked in when it was supposed to?

my fuel cutoff ALWAYS cuts in around 72 or 7300RPMs....what is your doing?

I have hit my limiter many many times too...

Mine kicks in at about the same, 7200. The car is just too damn quiet to hear the engine rev and the tach is blocked by the steering wheel when tilted low.

The car sure feels wicked when that shutoff valve kicks in!

Has Acura ever said anything about running the engine over 6900 for short time. Do they generally set the red lines at a conservative level?

Yeah sometimes i forget to shift up and dat da fuel cut off kicks in. feels like several jerks.
