Fuel Pressure on NO2 application

I've read on various sites and have seen that average car FP should hover around 40 psi at idle and 50 psi at WOT. My car is reading this, but why the heck would SC applications on our car require a range from 30 all the way up to 100? I know it needs more fuel, but that much more of a variation from low to high??? It's kind of pointless to have my gauge if I'm only using 10 out of the 100 psi it's marked for. Is my gauge busted or is something wrong with my Zex dry setup involving the intake and FPR hoses?
