fuckin acura dealer(suburban)
pull up at the acura dealer today to get my oil change w/ mobile one and my rotors fixed
i got there at 1 p.m., they take my car and evrything, karl the service guy says it should be ready in 1.5-2 hrs MAX, i cant get a rental so my friend picks me up, we go to the infinity dealer, go to the mall yada yada, 3.5 hrs later i come back to get my car only to find out its not ready yet, i have to be at class by 6, so i just went back home.. got a call when my car was ready at 6 went to the dealer only to find my car covered in grease marks cause they were touching my paint w/ there dirty ass hands, my car was perfectly clean when i brought it in, why the fuck u gotta touch my paint when u change the brakes
the car had 10 more miles on it when i got back so i ask where they drove it and they told me they had to TEST the new brakes, for 10 fuckin miles
then the kid that cleans the cars there used to go to school w/ me and i guess he drove my car around while it was there too, "ay bro your car is fuckin fast"
i'm like why the fuck u drivin my car
i was complaining to him bout the grase marks on my car and hes like well if u dont like us washing ur car what do u want us to do? just dont bring your car here any more
i better get a free oil change or somethin out of this, i guess i'll call and complain or somethin

I can't believe the guy told you that your car was fast...
I would punch him square in the jaw if he told me he took my car for a joyride without my permission.

Being my car to get my free oil charge and I believe the guy who work on my car didn't take all his tool before he closing the hood.
End up having couple dents on my upper intake cover and my hood. Then I talk to Karl and have Acura to fix everything for my and free rental car for me

I always get treated wonderful at my Local Acura Dealership (Ferman Acura). Even only being 19 years old and getting only emmissions warranty and recalls done. I absolutely HATE Ferman Nissan though...

This is what it comes down too, you don't want to take your car anywhere else cause you would rather the dealer do it. When I had my CL i was like the hell i'd take it to Firestone, or anything like that, but then I would take my car to the dealer and they would be like oh 200 for this 200 for that and while your at it bend over cause we have something else for you. I mean shit its a freakin new car I shouldn't be paying for anything. Service is expensive, miscellaneous shit adds up and in the end your never happy! The only thing i liked about acura was the free loaner, thats if you got there early or set up an appointment, and the free drinks inside. I truely beleive there service isn't better then anyone elses but for some reason it saves you a piece of mind cause you think your getting better service. The only way to win in the end is to have a friend who is a mechanic, otherwise you never know. Sometimes i go for an oil change and i'm like, honestly do i know they really did the work? You never know.

Other than that, I agree with the rest of your post. Dealerships charge the most for any specific work, compared to other independent shops. And if they say they cleaned out the brake pads, then I have to take their word for it. I'm not about to take apart the brake unit to verify, and they know it.
