front engine mount

My front engine mount was leaking and dealer said I need a new one, wanted $500, I had it done at my mechanic at half the price. He install after market one, which looks decent. Stock one are not that great, so don't think its a big deal.

whats wrong with Inovative? My mechanic told me it matches OEM specs. my car runs smooth during acceleration. Stock ones obviously not very realiable, it appears to be a common problem

OES also makes them... I don't know, car seems to run smoother before I had a problem. People like OEM mounts for no good reason... the truth is OEM mounts are not that good.

I know some of you will complain its not OEM blah-blah. hey, my car is 9 years old, and this after market motor mount is doing its job, I have no complaints on how car idles or accelerates.
I am thinking it might be something like that http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PZ61YY/...Y&linkCode=asn

I was going to this mechanic for many years and never had a problem with the parts he installed, so I am hoping this time it will be fine. The labor is only 1 hour to install it, so if it fails again I will buy OEM Honda and have him install.

This is the picture I just took

I dont think anyone will complain its not OEM. OEM ones arent very good either. But if these can be had for a good price, and hold up, This could verywell open up a new door for CL/TL owners.

Yea, I have no problem with aftermarket parts, as long as they are built correctly (which the Innovative mounts dont fall under that category).

Isn't Innovative mostly for improved performance racing type of stuff?
Did you see my picture? I don't think its innovative.

I am a bit concerned that it has a different design (I don't see the same bolts as on OEM), well I guess as long as it work...

I realize that, I was just voicing my distaste with Innovative mounts. In theory, they are supposed to be better then stock. In reality however, they are worse. Theres a HUGE thread about them on here, so Im not going to go into specifics.
