Front Bumper Hung on Hooks

I am removing the front bumper on my '03 CL-S so that I can replace the inverter in my right headlight. I have followed the instructions in the HELMS manual and have all the fastners out (had to use an impact driver of the three large head screws). I have the sides disengaged, but am not able to get the hooks under the headlights (three on each side) to release. What do I need to do to get the bumper released from those hooks?

Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion. I was concerned that I was going to break something. Turns out what the manual referred to as hooks were not really hooks at all, but raised points on the upper beams and bumper spacers.

I used the ThinJim's silicone suggestion that Allout mentioned for the inverter. I assumed that it was where the wires come out ot the top of the inverter. I can see how water could get in there.

Well my right HID light is working again and I will know what to do when/if the left one fails.

Thanks to all for the suggestions and post the I was able to find in my searches.
