Free mod that gives 4 crank hp!
REMOVE YOUR SPARE TIRE! it weighs about 50 pounds and with saved power/weight ration you gain an extra 4 crank hp. Hey, its the same as buying a 600$ exhaust system.

Sorry it's 29 lbs and that saves 2 hp. Or, 3500lb car divided by 225 hp equals 15.5 lbs per hp; that means each 15 lbs you remove frees up one pony, nothing wrong with that. For the type-S guys it's 3500/260 = 13.5 lbs. Oh and by the way the trunk mat weighs 14 lbs. Spare plus mat equals 43 lbs.

to be more accurate.. I dynoed at 231 SAE WHP and my car me in it was at 3626 lbs. No spare, no jack. so that is 15.70 lb/WHP. so if the spar tire is like exactly 2 WHP. now can we save 1600 lbs or have an extra 130 WHP!... a 363 WHP CLS would be the BOMB!

besides the spare tire, there is practically nothing else to take out. unless your a hardcore racer i.e. takin out rear seats,power seat motors, heated seat, power windows.
but then again, we bought an acura for luxury too.

I don't think that was a big secret.
you should just throw away the tire, jack and tools, and get some high performance run flats. ala Mini Cooper S.
