I'm not interested in it since I have nice paint and matte paint is a nightmare to own plus cannot be waxed, there is a product research company here in Minneapolis that I've been part of a number of times before. They are looking for some people to have their cars painted in a matte finish. They pay for it plus you get a $75 Visa gift card. I'm unsure of all the details other than the contact information. I would assume that you will have to give the car over to have it done and then come back at some intervals to have it checked out and inspected along with filling out questionnaires about it.

I don't believe they're interested in anyone outside of the area as you likely will need to come back a number of times to have it checked over and when they tell you the time, you need to be there. Keep in mind that matte paint fades unevenly after only a short time, chalks, shows scratches ungodly easily, and heaven forbid you get wax on it.

especially considering the fact that most 2g CL's still have a somewhat decent paint job (maybe some clear coat damage on the hood, roof, and trunk, but nothing that calls for a total paint job though)
