Free Carwash

Do any of your dealers do free carwashes on saturdays? I know at Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz in Irvine,CA I used to always take my uncle's S430 there for a free wash and clean on Saturdays. They also gave free parking at LAX or John Wayne Airports.

I called my local dealer and suggested the free carwashes. You guys should do the same. I know we don't pay nearly as much for the service as Benz ppl do but still, Acura should try to keep up in it's "Luxury" line. Plus it'd just be a nice perk.

Mine offers car washes every time I go in. But they just pour some soap water on it and that's about it.

Kind of pathetic since the VW dealership next door has a full automated car wash for their customers. Way to go, Acura. Dipsh*ts.

My dealer asks the local crackheads if they want to make $$$ and has them wash the cars. When I brought my car to the dealer once, I had the "free wash", well they managed to put light scuff marks on the roof. I will never do a free wash ever again!!!! (unless it's my red f-250 super duty truck that I don't give a chit about anyways)

DMD does do free washes, but TRUST ME, you do not want it.

They just recently changed out vendors for the car washing, but I'd have to hear how good they are before I let them touch my ride.

Hah, tell me about it, when I bought my car from DMD the "car washers" has already left for the day and my white car looked brown from it's trip up from houston. Like many of you, no one washes my car but me, and the salesguy offered to do it himself . So I ended up washing the car in the wash bay.

I let them wash my car, just a regular car wash.... probably would cost me $3-4 when I do it on my own. I get it everytime I get an oil change or come for service.
I figure $26 for an oil change is kind of expensive, but with the car wash and checking and adjusting tire pressures its worse it.

I no longer let them "adjust" my tire pressure because I always end up with like 22lbs in one tire and 42lbs in another. The techs at my dealership are great but the washers and other common sense job people are usually highschool idiots

well yeah, my dealership does it for free when servicing too...

whta I meant was a free carwash and interior cleaning detail work for free..

and I dind't know Fletcher Jones was in Newport, I guess it breaks right over the border of the two cities.

They wash/clean/detail the shit outta your car for nothing. Then they send you away with a bagel and soem bottled water...

I need a BENZ!

Motorworld Acura (the dealer i work at) offers a free car wash to any vehicle that was in for service - alot of florida benz dealers also have free car wash saturdays, the people there work off of tips and while you wait up to a half hour for your car wash (they get busy) you can browse around the showroom while you wait, saturday sales increases at almost every dealer that does this

there ya go!

so it's good for them and good for us as well. free carwash saturdays help increase sales and also build a relationship with the buyer that's not just when something breaks or ends after they walk out the dealer with their new (or used) car keys.

It's just a good idea in my opinion.

Gettel Acura in Sarasota does free wash and vac. They do a decent job. I always touch it up when I get home with a quick spray wax and some tire shine and little more attention to the wheels, but hey its is free.

Not just free, They offer them when you have a service done, like an oil change, or warranty work etc. However I don't let them wash it. No one washes my car but me.

still, I think free carwash saturdays would be a good idea nonetheless... so long as they do a good job and detail the inside as well.

Fletcher Jones did a GREAT job detailing the MBs that came in there in my opinion.
