freakin Criswell

I had my tires rotated and balanced the other day, and while washing my car today I noticed those fucks managed to scratch 3 out of 4 rims!! They are all scratched in the same area around the center cap. And on the 4th rim you can see a real light scratch in the same spot. I don't even know if it is worth the hassle bitching to them because it seems some other shop will just end up scratching them anyways. So if you go to criswell inspect your rims before you pull out of the lot.

How the hell did they scratch them there? That's not even the part that sticks out??

It may be a hassle, but see if you can get $$$ out of them instead of replacements, and then just go buy new rims!

If you ever visit the Jersey area, I know a person that fixes scratched rims.

I guessing that the high school drop out that put the tires on the tire balance machine must have put the rims on backwards?????????

damn same crap happened to me there, but it was my front bumper. when i first got my car i had to take it back for some work on my brakes, then when i got it back there was a dent in my bumper. they were'nt gonna do much but pop it back out. then i took it in again to do my suspension and guess what, there was a five inch long scratch in the bumper on the other side. whoever did it tried to cover it up with touch up paint. what a bastard. anyway i finally got my them to get me a new bumper for free. so try and make them pay for it.

Achance, MyComptechCLS, JRock,

All of you have had problems with Criswell service? I bought my car from Tischer, went back once to get my splash guards installed. They were OK. I do my own oil changes. But, I was going to try a few dealers for the major maintenance work, see who is the best. Should I avoid Criswell?

I have had a few minor problems with criswell, but so far its not enough to change dealers.

1)they stole my rear license plate frame and replaced it with theirs. Was suppose to mail me a coupon for a free oil change and never did.
2)Lied about washing the car, when all they did was spot wash it to get the bird shit off, never never vaccum out the car like they said they do. And after watching them wash other people's cars, I'm not going to get them to do it anymore. they pretty much just dry wash it. I always have to dry off the car when I get it back and white towel that I use shows how much dirt they leave on.
3) scratched my rims, and if they don't compensate me today then I'll switch.

I had the same ordeal with my dealership...After them working on the brakes I noticed one rim was badly scratched. I didn't say anything at the time, but I did mention it to the service advisor when I came back...the service manager agreed to pay to refinish my rim.

I'm now back with 4 perfect rims...Make sure you tell ANYONE who is working on your car to be extra careful with dropping the wheels...some idiots will drop the rim face down!

I hate Criswell... but Criswell Chevy not Acura... those idiots took almost a YEAR to refund my deposit on a car.. and only after I got my lawyer friend to write a letter to them.

Then their service department sucks as well.. the only reason y I went there was because they had a dedicated 'performance car' team... but when they couldnt diagnose my problem.. they told me to 'hang tight until GM comes out with a fix' !!!!!!! I went to another dealer and they happily repaired the car...

then I had a problem with my wheel hub bearing (my own fault) but they tried to blame the TIRES?!?! come on now.. went back to other dealer who replaced it in less than 1.5 hours.

I could go on and on about Criswell... Dunno about Acura... but its the same owner.. so I refuse to give them my business.
