I just tried teh PIAA L.E.D. 194 bulbs in my lights. At night, the light is very close to the color of the HID, but they dont snie anywhere. It lights the housingnicely but it puts a circular beam on the lense.

So I would not recommend the LED PIAA bulbs...

Kevin- there is no switch, they are just wired up to the headlights and come on whenever you switch on the lights.

As far as I know you should be able to just swap these lights for the black plastic housings. I've even got some super white PIAA bulbs in there so it will match the stock beams.

If you want to trade send me an email and we can work it out - mpegan@citation.com.

because I just bought some PIAA driving lamps and I want to put them in that spot. I figure the best way to do that is to swap out the stock lamps with the housing from the 03, and then cut the 03 housing to fit the PIAA's.

whats the most popular lamp to put in after taking out the stock road lamps? i'm considering changing the road lamps to a set of aftermartket lights and i'm curious to see what everyone else is using.

dets- I think the best would probably be the Hella Micro DE.. they are kinda expensive though, and I don't think they are worth the extra $. I ordered PIAA 001 Solitaire ion yellow halogens from eBay, list price is $140 I got them for 40. I had them before on my last car and I was really happy with them, I think they put out great light and look pretty good too.

Then theres always the real HID lights but they up near a grand I think...and not worth it at all IMO.
