So i just installed my Kaixen 8500k (blue) HID bulbs on my 03 cls. I have 01 cls fog lamps i installed on my car and they use PIAA Extreme White 19224 bulbs and i do not like how they match with the HID's. What would you guys recommend i go with, im thinking a yellow bulb? Here is a pic, not the best..

 

The only way to truly match the fog lights with the low beams is to convert them to HID. To try and find a bulb that matches 8500K will be very difficult. You are better off, like you said, choosing an entirely different color. I can tell you that personally I think the yellow is great option since it cuts through fog better and if you get a good bulb like the PIAA you will be happy.

 

kyle777- is there a noticeable difference in color from the stock bulbs?

 

Yes its very noticeable. Before, my stock HID were pretty close to the same color as my fogs. Night time visibility was also increased.
