does anyone know where i can get 2003 cl fogs light i know this year didnt come with it but what other year will fit?????????

 

No cls had fog lights. only 01-02 cls had something called "road lamps" or something like that, but the output is horrible better off going custom.

 

You would need to get the housing and sockets from the road lamps off of a 01/02 CL. You can barely fit a 921 bulb in there that is 12 watts I believe and will make it brighter. The original 5 watt bulbs are just useless for anything. LED bulbs work good as well. I have 921 bulbs in there right now and will be replacing them with yellow 921s.

 

sorry to thread jack but does anyone know if its safe to tap power from the parking light to power fog light that I have. They are 35watt 9006 bulbs. So I can have my fogs turn on after the first light click along with the parking light

 

The 2001 and 2002 came with "Accessory Light" Part#'s33901-S3M-A02 and 33951-S3M-A02. If you want to power up your aftermarket fog lights you would need to hook up a relay, so that you do not burn out your parking light circuit.

 

I purchased fogs from Acura and converted to HID's... Looks awesome at regardless with day or night.

 

I have an 03. So I went ahead and bought the road lamps and bought the factory fog switch, installed it all, worked great for a while, but then moisture got in the lamps, and then my piaa bulbs started to melt the housing, they are cheap. So I put my black plugs back in, and bought PIAA aftermarket fogs, and installed them in the grill, but now I am going to mount them where the road lamps go, make it look real nice. I will post pics when I'm done. See the TL Type S came with nice factory fogs, we got jipped!!

 

Looking for fog lights as well... I heard and saw some people on instagram install Fog-Light Retrofits from customlightz.com on 2001 acura cl type s. Looks real awesome! has anyone on here done it ?? Help ? Suggestions??

I want fogs on my 03 cls we should see if we can get a group buy going and get a complete set made up im the first to buy no bull.Who on the forum does such things maybe we can talk to them. they can probably make a nice round hole in the black covers and throw a nice lil round fog in there and some wiring and were set. Shit ill take any option at this point cuz the cl-s is a nice sports coupe with no fogs wtf even the old legends have nice fogs thats a car made ten years prior to this one.

I hooked up my LED lights to my accessory circuit and have had no issues, though mine are more as a decorative light than true driving light.
