It's not my cup of tea...

Not saying they don't look good. I'm just not really into the look personally.

yes evil bob, you did give me the inspiration. yours look tight painted black. mine set back in a little further, with no lip on the outside.

and yes the fogs are removed. but it can put it back to stock in less than 10 min. i like mixing it up a bit for the fun of it.

and it saves a pound or so.

damn, I wish I could get more of that mesh material mattg has. my shop ran out. maybe you should try to put molding where the mesh meets the plastic to hide the seam. yuou know, clean it up a bit. then redo the front grille again with the same material.

I took out my fogs the other day to clean em up and noticed how easily water could get to the CAI. Do you guys with altered fogs think this is an issue? I'd really like to "upgrade" my fogs. BTW, did you use stock wiring and just tap into it for the new lights?

I got hammered for being lazy and getting ripped off ($18 each), but I bought the 2003 fog lamp inserts (black pastic pieces) from a dealer and absolutely love the sportier look from getting rid of those ugly lights. The lights pop out in 1 minute with a screw driver, fyi, and they're solid pieces, so water into the CAI isn't an issue thru the openings. I'm not painting the lower lip like the 2003. I think mine looks better all black (satin silver CL-S). Pix will come when I get it dropped next week.

So, where did you get it? I need some stronger mesh for my grille cause that Home Depot gutter guard crap gets dented way to easily.
