well, as u all know i traded in my cl-s lease 4 months early and got a MDX instead. As part of the deal i gave them 350 to fix the bumper i had been hit back in january, and 50 for a new tire. everything was supposed to be ok, but well, acura are a bumch of shitheads i guess. i just got a bill from them for 1200 bucks for wear and tear. NO reasonings for the bill, just a bill. Im goin to call them tomorrow and bitch them out because this is total bullshit. how can they do this shit, im pissed off as hell. ill let u all know.

there was 42 thou, much less then the 15 per year i had on the lease. there was nothing wrong with the car that wasnt a problem with the car itself. i mean i lost the tranny but that wasnt my fault. soo pisssed.

There is $1500 of ware and tear included in the acura leases. They also include GAP insurance. Make sure you call Honda (800 633-4703) befor you pay anything.

Since when? We've leased three vehicles from Acura and I know people who work for AHFC. No one knows anything about this $1500 you're claiming....

And, Gap insurance only covers total losses. Obviously not the case in this instance.

Did you have the test done. Honda makes you do this independent check of the car. they decide what is regular wear and tear, and what is not (which you will have to cover). Once you cover that, they can't come back and give a bill. You defenetelly have to fight it.

This is why I hate leases. Too much bullshit at the end. I highly recommend having an attorney read over your lease contract before signing. The lease contract is soley designed and geared to the leasor. Have your attorney add in or delete shit to protect you!

i havcent called yet but i am gettin more pissed as the days go by. i didnt actually get to see them do the inspection because i turned it in early and my dealer sent the car back early. im gettin so mad at this crap, because im in another lease now with honda, my mdx and i am not goin to deal with this shit again. im goin to rip there heads off and then shit down there throats, then when im done im goin to send my lawyers after them. 1200 for wear and tear is unreal. the dealer also said that when i got my car there was no 1500 wear and tear but i think it is now on leases. I will be fighting this with every bit of energy i have, or their MDX is hittin a wall for the 5 grand gap insurance i have to cover it. ill let y all know

Before u return a leased vehicle...contact the bank and tell them u r planning on returning in a couple of weeks . They will come look at the car before u return it and then they will tell u if they are going to charge anything...Then u can get it fixed before u return it and probably save cash . Have it inspected by the dealer also before returning it so they can't fuck u w/ a bill...good luck bro
