for all you guys with scratched rims and we all know that is about everyone with factory rims. The scratches even the deep ones can be fixed for about $50 - $75 dollars. I asked my service manager while my car was being painted if they could replace my rim that is scratched he me they have a guy who comes around and fixes them once a week. Showed me two before and after on our rims and damn, I am talking about deep shit that looks brand new. Much cheaper than the $350 a rim. I let you guys know how mine turns out next week when I get my car back.

 

i have one little scratch, gonna inquire at Park Ave Acura when I go in for my service.

 

Make sure you let others know what you find out.

Maybe they can find a similar service in their area.

I was quoted $175 to fix my scratched rim by a dealer. Had to send it out, drive on spare tire, blah, blah, blah.

I've heard about the mobile repair guys. I just have not called around other to dealers. Does anyone know of the materials and process involved? Maybe a scratch repair/refinish kit?

 

Where can you get them for 125? I might buy a couple of them!

 

My friend works at this club Metro, and he gets them from a security guy there.

That's what I was gonna say, used in very good condition for cheap. Repair is possible but since every scratch is different, you may not get satisfaction (that's what they told me). Do you have the option not the pay if you are not satisfied? I don't think so..... And I had some deep scratches covering at least 270 degrees of the surface. Umh, not scratches; curb rash!
