fitting dc headers with 6 speed

To anyone wanting dc headers with their 6 speed. these headers require significant grinding of the rear motor mount bracket. With many test fits this was the minimum that needed to be grind off to have about 5 to 7 mm of clearance from the rear exhaust manifold. I was a bit worried at first but i have had this done and installed for a week now and have already tracked the car with it still holding strong I previously had obx headers on which required far less grinding of the bracket but my obx headers were junk leaking flex pipe to welds busting. So far I am happy with my new dc headers.

No way, I just did the same thing but with a different set of headers that would fit my 6spd. Painted it black too and should hold up. Nice to see your not lazy like me and made a write up though. I have pics of mine but they are blurry
