I won’t bore you guys with too many photos, but I thought I would share a few after the first FOUR coats of Z-2.

It was pretty cloudy out so the shine could be better.
That’s the best she’s gonna look until the wheels and springs get installed this week.

I just finised Zainoing today too.........Now you just have 62 more coats to get to where you were with your old car:P

 

Very nice shawn! Shine isn't what i was expecting. However, a sunny day the car will look better. My mom's car is the same color and it reflects Zaino like a MoFo when it's sunny. I need for it to get a bit warmer before i apply zaino again. I did it a couple of times when it as colder out and my fingers are still frozen so i'll have to wait a bit.


Btw, where did you take those shots?? I've been looking for some nice places to take pictures of my baby and besides the park near my house there aren't any I know you aren't too far from where i live so one of these days i'll have to drive up and snap some pics.

It’s just the parking lot of an old elementary school that isn’t used any more.
It’s only about 3-miles from my house.
I pull all the way to the far end of the lot for the nice backdrop of the mountains.

But you wanted it ... The gold kit (note: IMO) looks sort of cheap, and cheesy. It also clashes with the rest of silver trim around the car. Around here, you see those kind of kits mostly on hoopdy rides ...

 

Well, I would have to say the same about those “Maxwell House” exhaust pipes on your ride.
But I have the decency not to BASH other people’s taste.

Dayum, your Aegean Blue looks nice. Just when I crossed that color off my short list.

Well, mine'll probably be black, but my dealer's also looking for an antracite so I can get a look (they have the blue & anthracite on the lot in TL-S, but that doesn't give the same impression--gotta see in person on a CL). Either way, it might be a month before he can get me the color of my choice in *low* mileage--I'm not in a hurry.

I'm cool with your gold--looks good. I might get the black chrome treatment on mine if I get black; dealer says they've got someone who does it--gotta find out how much.

But man, don't know if I'll have what it takes to spend a weekend Zainoing my car--we'll see.

 

I like gold, it makes you feel like a tough hardass
