First signs of rust
I was washing my 01 CL-s today and I noticed some rust on my exhaust tips and in the stone chips on my hood. I was told to give the area on my exhaust a light sand and then spray it with rust check
then I was told to touch up the chips with some touch up paint. Any Thoughts?
Do CLs tend to have rust problems?

DONT SAND THE CHROME PLATING!!!
YOu will ruin it. Spray WD_40 on the chrome tips let sit for 15 minutes and wipe off the rust. You may have to do this several times.
For the stone chips, pick up touch up at the dealer. Do not use the enclosed brush.
Take a piece of cardboard and spread some paint on it.
CUt a little pointy brush ou tof card board. Rub it in the paint and then rub most of the paint off and brush it in the chip. Do this with 5- 10 light coats. Thsi will slowly fill in the chip and be level with the paint. I have 1 you cannot see.
A sfar as the cl and rust.
Mine has never been driven in the snow and less than 5 time in the rain in over 4 years. ---so no rust

Glad I don't have to deal with this rust issue, as we don't get snow
