First Road Trip

Well I'm taking my first long long road trip in my new CL-S on Friday. I'm driving from South FL, to NYC, then back sometime next week. 1200 miles each way. I have about 700 miles on my CL-S, So it's broken in enough. I hope this car is comfortable on a long trip like this. I don't stop to rest. I drive straight just stopping for gas. I'm so used to the room I had in the car before. Any ideas on seating position, so I don't get cramped. Has anyone driven a long trip like this. Is the CL-S going to be good, or bad to me

You will not regret it. I do some 450 miles ( 1 full tank ) trip to Montreal, Qc.

The ride is a breeze with some moutains driving. You can drive 2 full tank a day or some 900+ miles at 75 miles/hr that is like 5 hrs drive per stop.
In you case I would do 8 hrs/day at 75 MPH for a total of 1200 miles.

I stop each 90 mins for drinks, flexing my legs and emptying my bladder

I've had about 10 or so 12-16 hour driving days in my CL-S. I had no problems at all. Stock up on good CD's, turn on the radar and cruise. I also found a cooler that fit in front of the passenger seat to hold cold drinks, fruit, etc..

I've done a few 10 hr runs from Tulsa to Houston. Over Christmas last year I did the Houston, TX to Tampa, FL thing, and in a couple of weeks, I'll be moving back to Jacksonville, so that's another 20 hr run. You won't be dissapointed, she's a great road cruiser!. Make sure you've got your CDs in (on an aside, wouldn't it be awesome if they updated the CD player to play MP3's also) and make sure the lumbar support is up, get a good driving position, and it should be a cakewalk.
