Ok now that I have a job and a steady paycheck I'm ready to start modding the CL. I have narrowed it down to comptech springs and shocks and/or the comptech icebox. Im curious as to shock recommendations to go with the springs. I wouldn't mind a little more aggressive handling but I don't want anything excessively harsh as I have to drive this to and from work every day. I also don't care if the shocks are adjustable since I dont have the facilities to take the back seat out and adjust the rear shocks nor do I have the desire to do so. All that being said what would be the best selection for shocks based on a 1000 dollar budget for everything (excluding install) if I do shocks/springs/icebox or say about 500-600 (excluding install) if I just do shocks/springs.

I know there is a lot of good info on here about the pros and cons of all the shock/spring combos, but I wanted to get some direct recommendations for my situation. Also, while I'm on the topic, any recommendations on places to do the install for me in the Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk, Virginia Beach area would be great. I miss having a garage and all my Dad's tools readily available but I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and pay labor to install this stuff.

 

u could do h&r sport springs with aftermarket struts and the icebox for under the $1000 budget, dont forget to debadge its FREE!
