My JL Audio 10W7 and 500/1 goes in tomarrow at 9:00am. The are building me a custom box and cover plate for the wall effect....the rest of the stuff will go in in a month or two. BASS FIRST BABY!!!!!!!!

I get my system tomarrow..........I get my drivers seat re-done in a week tomarrow!!!!!!

Congrats on the install bro. Im gettin my subs replaced tomorrOw They blew out a couple weeks ago. I can't wait cause being in my car just isn't the same without them.

I think the installer said something like 1.4-1.5 cubic ft I don't want anything to go past the wheel wells or where the glass ends!!!!

 

chaz... nice setup, but kinda curious as to why you put the sub in the middle versus the back???

 

The sub is there, becuase I have the new 02 Dodge Ram quadcab, and there is absoutly no room behind the seats for subs. Only other place is under the seats where the amps are, and they wouldnt of looked right. I didnt want to hide anything, due to show reasons. And also I wanted the box removable, which it is, So if need be, it will come right out. This was the best solution, that me and ron cam came up with. Becuase the 10w7 needs a pretty decent size box. And plus I dont think we will see to many 10w7's in a ram anyways, unless they rip out the rear seats, (Which i need). this is original, and sounds damn awesome.. just ask Dave from SE... If i had a reg cab, it would of been no problem getting the subs in the rear, they have pretty decent room from the rear of the seats to the cab.
