First Bumper scratch----@&%^#$**?!!!
Well driving around Nashville interstates without my full bra--it was inevitable. Some truck tossed up a nice one to put a 1/2" long scratch across the top of my bumper. At least it didn't hit the headlight afterwards, or the fender. However I've noticed little pock marks on this soft painted front bumper....damn. GIVE ME CHROME.
Honda touch up paint isn't exactly the best either..............if you're not careful, it will etch the clear laquer off wherever it touches. First one hurts the most!

I gotcha beat and I've only got my self to blame. there was a large dent in the bumber under the dirvers side fog (about 2 inches deep 6 inches wide and 3 inches high) because when I parked it I left it parked against the bumper at the front of the parking spot (my school uses logs) and left it here all day. didn't damage the paint. and I've managed to reshape it so it is had to see it is there.

Misery loves company.........thanks guys, I don't feel as bad about it. Wet sanded the touch up paint and used polishing compound afterwards and now I just have a small raised gold line on the bumper. Afraid to sand it more 'cuz the paint is soooo thin. I'll live!!

I have two bumpers that have have been killed over the last few months. How much would it cost to have someone fix, repaint them? I want it looking new. I know that somebody was in an accident and the total fix was $1900, so just some paint and sanding can't be too much right? Thanks

This sounds all too familiar... I took my car to the San Francisco Palace Hotel for our company Christmas party... the valet managed to scratch the rear right corner against a post... still playing phone tag with their office. They're liable and they know it (they sent me a copy of an insurance report) but it's still a pain in the ass, and it hurt like hell to see my car scratched up

I got mine when the car was 5 days old. Some suv with a receiver hitch must of backed into it when I was at the mall. Cost $50 to have an autobody shop fix it. They said $150 to repaint half the bumper but the paint would be prone to spider crack the next time it was hit. I need an ARB winch bumper for this car.
