The first annual tire search... :)
Ok - so I saw a lot of posts where people were talking about how good their Nittos or Yokies or Toyos were - but I haven't seen anything that says how much people paid for tires to fit the stock CL-S rims... And if you got them from a national tire chain, which one did you use? I've got about 18k on the stock tires and they're TIRED.
I have the Nitto 555 Extreme. I paid 112 each from discount tire. With lifetime warranty on all and using their new high end machinery for balncing it was 564 out the door.
I am running the car in SOLO II this year. Have not been ourt on the new tires but street driving is now real fun. I use a 235/45/17 and the times have dropped .3 secs off of 0-60 due to traction...
