Finally got to wash my car. G or Blackfire haters, stay out.

Took advantage of the holiday, and finally got out to wash the G. I can't remember the last time I washed the car. The other day we finally got above freezing here, breaking a below freezing stream of 489 straight hours. it's been very cold winter here in Chicago.

I had way too many things going on, so I only had time for a wash and quick wheel clean. Last time I Blackfired was back in November, so I was anxious to see how the stuff held up for three months of salt, snow, sleet and rain abuse. This car is my daily driver and when I'm at work it sits outside, for about 12 hours a day.

I was pleseantly surprised to see the polymer still on the paint. A quick dry, while freezing my ass of because the sky became overcast and I finally finished.

There was basically no light when I snapped these pics, but I think the car just looks good after some water, some mf towels and wheel cleaner. I'm eager to get out and put some Blackfire on the car, but I just ran out of time. But I don't think she looks all that bad after the wash...

Buddy of mine got one a little while ago. I finally got to take it for a spin over the weekend...fun stuff. Rear wheel drive + power + 6 speed is fantastic.

Too bad my :ghey: friend can't drive for shit. He has had it for over two months, and stalled it twice in a two mile trip. He says it has a 'very difficult clutch'. I made him look like a when I took it out and ripped around with no problems.

But anyway...nice ass car

most smilies I have ever used in a post.

lol

I'd keep the stock rims on if I didn't have to deal with the 2 feet of snow and ice that is on the ground.

They're 17" rims with Pirelli SnowSport tires... I'll sacrifice look for a bit of safety. And I don't need the nicest rims on the block. These are winter beaters... And that's all they are.

Sure... You take pictures in FULL sunlight. I'll take mine 10 min. before the sun sets.

You own a red car, mine is silver.

Scooter - Your car doesn't count. We all know about the shop rebuffering your car to show room shine. I had a little accident in July of last year, I had the Bodyshop buff my truck with BF and before picking it up. The bling from my truck looks like it was sitting at a SEMA car show. Now my truck alway has this shine even when dirty. When winter is over, I going back for a spring detail buffering and I will post pics with the blingy rims. :o

They are his winter setup.. I have similar rims on my Z for my snow tires. It's more about getting from point A to B than style

Yeah, they're insanely cheap rims, at around $125 per... And with the potholes the size of small valleys around here, I'll certainly sacrifice some look, for a much easier burden on my wallet. Especially for the shitty winter months.

The G looks awesome there scrib and personally I think the winter setup wheels still look pretty good on the car, all while being functional!
