i finally got my 30% 5 window tints today..
but i wasnt there to watch them put on the tints, i was just looking at their products they had.. but anyways they told me not to open the windows for a couple of days...so i put tape over the window button and put the window lock on..anyways heres my question did they tint that part where the window goes into the car door..??.??or is it just clear?? forgot to ask them that.. and do you guys recommend me using windex on tints..??if not what should i use...??

I was instructed to only use regular water when cleaning the inside of the tinted windows.
I would suggest that.

definately DONT use Windex.

It contains ammonia and it will turn your tint purple!

Plenty of car care product makers have window cleaners that they say are safe for tint.

So if you need something stronger then regular water... use them.

I like ArmorAll Window Wipes... quick & easy pre-moistened cloths... no messy spray. Great for inside the car.

 

Also, don't use paper towels since they're made from wood and can stratch the plastic tint. I use cloth diapers and a clear liquid that says it safe for tinted windows.
