hey guys! its been about 2 and a half weeks now and today i finally got my car back from the shop! she looks beautiful the shop did a great job. now my question...
since the shop had to paint the passenger side of my car, they told me that i could wash right away, but not to wax for 3 months. THREE MONTHS!!!! i got my zaino in the mail right before my accidnet and its just sitting there! do i really have to wait threee months or can i zaino my car sooner...any input would be well appreciated bros thanks

Best would be not to wash it for at least two to three weeks either.
Give the paint the time to get harder.
With the protection layer you want to put on you are preventing the paint from doing so.
Change is that the paint shows every little scratchmark if you polisch it to soon.
All the solvents have to get out of the paint and this is a long process.
If you wash the car it is better to clean with normal water first to get the dust particals off and prevent scratches.

 

glad you finally got your car back. you went to Marcos right? they did a great job on my car too, i was very pleased. sorry i don't know much about zaino so i can't give any input on that.

I've heard the same thing. When my bro needed his trunk fixed (some asses vandalized it) on his CL they said no waxing for a month or so. Never heard 3.
