Finally gone!!!
At EXACTLY 76,000 miles yesterday, my tranny bit the big one. Had been reporting the issue for the past couple of weeks and it finally ate it. Arguing with Acura client relations right now to see if they'll comp any of it, but am seriously pondering the 06 Odyssey swap. Can someone please give me the remix version of what I need to do to get this done? I can purchase one locally for around 900, which I'm assuming is gonna be far less than Acura will wind up charging me. Douche bags. Thanks guys! Much love!!!!
talk to them dont yell or talk down ... tell them about how many hondas youve had ... and will have friends youve steered towards honda ... when my accord V6 was 8 years old they paid 100% it did only have 47K miles at time and was like my 9th honda
I did that and the woman I spoke to at client relations was just a total biotch. She said she would take it into consideration, but for me not to get my hopes up for an 80% concession. The dealer has quoted 4800 to replace. I'm DEF not going to pay that. The car might be worth double. Lol!
Reports have been $2000-$3000 out of pocket that's with Acura covering some of the original quote. If you can get a trans for $900 forget the dealer crap & do that. Find a trans or import shop to swap it.
