finally found '03 mufflers

I've been looking for months for '03 mufflers. WHY? because the '02 tips SUCK! Don't agree? Well go to Hell!

Anyways, chaptorial hooked it up... I'll post before and after pics for the ones interested in seeing the difference. Can't believe some people actually told me the '02 tips are shinier. LOL

A little OT ("O"ff "T"opic)...but IMO stands for "I"n "M"y "O"pinion.

well see, their is no ANY difference in performance. The mufflers are the same. However, the tips are nicer. They stand out more and they have much more chrome on them. That's the only reason why I changed them.
I paid 200$ for both. So what i'm gonna do is when I install the '03 ones, I'll just sell my '02 mufflers on the black market or on ebay for like 100$ and the '03 mufflers will just cost me 100$

I also have 03 mufflers if anyones interested.

The 03 tips are not chrome at all, they are like a stainless steel. Not really that shiny .. not nearly as shiny as comptech tips.

Mine are still just as shiny as my Comptech's. The tips that is. Obviously the rest of the muffler isn't.

The CT mufflers make the 01's look so small. Even the mounts are huge compared to them.

I was thinking about getting some of these:

but I have no idea if they'll be able to be welded on?
