That's a nice run!

For your question. With slicks and 11psi, I am sure I could hit 117-120mph, so 11's would be possible. Then again... its not going to happen, so there's no point talking about it! If I had full tunability on the ECU (either Hondata or the AEM system), I would have tried this... but I guess we'll have to wait on the next setup I guess since 11's have been run, there's no point in aiming for anything higher than a 10sec E.T, right?

Nevertheless... that's pretty darn good for a stock VQ (internals, that is). My props to the guy.

allmotor,
Withouth a doubt turning up the boost without full time engine managment would've risked very serious engine damage. Nissan built the engine strong

I am sure this individual is doing something for extra fuel/timing management - which essentially is what you need. On our systems, the extra fuel is not a problem. I was VERY close to getting an AIC system (Additional Injector Controller)... but the timing issue is more difficult. I think with 110 octane, I could have run 11-12psi as long as there is enough fuel, but this doesn't make the car daily drivable. If you have something like the AEM system, its VERY easy to load up maps for daily driving (10-11psi) and much more aggressive tuning for the track. The motor can take 15psi I think as long as all other parametes are taken care of. Most of the time people blow up their motors because its not tuned properly.

They've grown on me and I like the 2k2s. The new ones coming out soon I don't like.

I guess the thread changed or something.
The thread ID you posted is different from the one Zootking posted.

Car # 428

Congrats to him that one helluva time for a Front Driver
