Which is faster CL-s or TL-s ?

I thought I read somewhere that a TLS and CLS went head to head a couple of times and were pretty much even. The CLS won half the time. TLS won (guess what) the other half
I think the CLS won by a hood length. Not sure though

well mathematically speaking, you would need to have 289 hp to make up for 400 lbs. However the navi only adds like 20 lbs (it did for the 2000's), and the tl is about 100 lbs heavier than the cl. Thus, the cl should technically be faster only by a hair.

whatever the cl-s weighs 3470 and the tl-s weighs 3574 so even if they did have the same hp the cl would still win because that little bit of weight would make the whole difference!!!!...duh it is common sense!!!

Realistically this comparison is the same car against itself...
Same Engines
Same Transmissions
Same Basic Drivetrains
The weight is really barely worth noting as a contributing factor since the standard deviation within the same car is no greater or less then between any two runs among the CLS vs TLS. This is one where driver skill (launch) and luck really dictate the winner.

I had heard the following:
THe TLS weighs ~20 +/- more than the comprably equipped CLS
The TLS was tested to be .5 sec faster 0-60 by MT (could have been two diff drivers etc, any .5 diff is considered negligible by these magazines)
I aslo heard (don't give me shit) that the only difference between the two is the way hte spark plugs fire (firing order) and some from the TL site seem to think that is why it is faster. I don't see how this is possible.
So I'll just add to the hype... again, just info that I have heard.

i heard the TLS is going to come out with a passive pure oxygen injection system. PPOIS for short, it is a mod that significantly increases horsepower to the wheels by creating more pressure.
Pretty soon us TLS owners will be kicking your assees all up and down local highways.

I was going to buy a CLS and then I saw the TLS and was like wow, I can fit more girls in the back seat, then off to the bedroom I went.
