Farewell Lord Helmet

...well, his car anyway. This is a short rememberance to Mr.Helmet's car, which is now sold. It will be greatly missed.

Farewell.......

Thanks for the thread, J! It almost saddened me but I can't deny it, I'm glad to see it go. Now I can get back into the 4x4 scene!

Thanks for the support fellas! It's only the car thats going byebye, I'll still be here to harass you guys with your AT to MT swap, roadlamp, CAI, oil, and gas milage threads.

I'm going to pick up a Jeep XJ (Chrokee) and do all kinds of stuff to it, basically build a rock crawler. I probably won't get one for a month or two, I'm sticking with my beater Rusty for a little while first.

Thanks! I ended up getting $13,5k for it with well, what WAS 67k on it when the guy first looked at it, now it's at 68k. The sale has been pending for awhile but I kept driving it. I figured it's my car, I might as well enjoy it while I can right?

Congrats on the sale, sorry to see the ride go, moving on to better things is a great thing. Good Luck I'm thinking about getting an SUV any day now also, just not selling the CL anytime soon, keeping this as my project car

My best friend has one sitting on 37" tires and 12" of lift, it'll walk over just about anything too...

Yeah it looked similar to that without the brush gaurd. It was f'in awesome. 4LO would put that truck anywhere...it was sooo funny too because people always asked me if it was a 4Runner because the canopy matched the body and was equal with the original height...

I love your friends Yota though.

Farewell. Shouldn't be too much of a change for you since the CL is a 4X4 from the factory.
