one of my friends was telling me about some device or whatever that you hooked up under the hood to create the blowoff vavle sound without having a turbo. i've heard that it sounds exactly like cars with turbos. anyone know what im talking about?

yeah i've heard about these. these are for poor wannabe ricers .
I got one worst than this. my one friend had this old civic (like early 90 series) and he put Turbo stickers and turbo inside stickers on it. so then the RETARD somehow burnt onto a CD a sound of a Supra Twin Turbo running/spooling out. so this kid with a souped up Accord wanted to race him and he hit his CD player with his "Spool CD"(as he called it) and this kid like "I'm low on gas. I'll race you some other time" and it maybe with the stickers cost 20 bucks to do the "setup"

 

i wanted to get it just to mess around with people i seriously wouldnt care how people would look at me i just love that sound. i have a story worse than yours. my friend would be driving with a megaphone and everytime he would shift he would get on the megaphone and go pssssshhhhhhhh. im dead ass serious

 

you two need to find some different friends

 

my engine will bark when pushed past 5000 rpms espically when I am testing the Second stage Intake valve with hi 30degrees weather

 

no I like watching and occassionally hanging out with poor ricers cause their funny.

1/2 way rich ricers are alright except then they start doing stuff right(like not using housing plumbing pipe HONEST TO GOD MY buddy that's a poor ricer wanted to take like 3 or 4 inch copper pipe and run it from the cat back I was like dude (after about 1/2 hour of laughing my ribs were hurting from laughing so hard) if you wanna put on a exhast system you should look into one made for your car like HKS or NEUSPEED. he's like no those are too expensive. i was like no you don't understand that plumbing pipe for home plumbing not for exhast pipe. he's like it can double as a car pipe. finally i got him to see my point

 

Not to mention that 3 - 4 Inch copper pipe will cost him ten times as much as aluminized pipe. Add to that the lower melting point and he could just throw several grand out the window.

 

I want one just to scare off the ricers in my town

 

I want that blow off valve sound too...But then again, if i idle and turn off your audio, you get a nice UFO hummmm sound with the INJEN intake that is...

How would we get it without a TURBO
