and I'm glad that the filter's for the Legend aren't honeywell, its the better ToyoRoKi brand.
seems from his comparison the mobile1 looks better. i'd stick to that over a honeywell honda filter.

i'm trying to find for you, there was a little better comparison of oil filter's for honda's, it had some good info

There was a great thread done in '02-'03 about the oil filters. Some member bought 6-8 different brands, used them, analyzed the oil after, and tore apart the filters like in the thread mentioned in post 2. I can’t find it but it was quite informative. The bottom line was that the Mobil1 filter was the best.

I agree that the M1 filter is best but when I tried getting it off recently, I couldnt. The wrench that I had didnt want to grab it because the walls kept bending every time that I grabbed it. Finally took a pair of large pliers grabbed it and twisted it off. I think that the walls are just a little too thin on the canister.

Either way, I had Honda Oil filters and thats whats on my car now until I use them up completely which might be soon...

Honda filters made by honeywell arent every good. I heard they are nearly identical to fram filters. Now im not saying they are bad and i've never heard of anyone using a bad fram or honda filter before. Better filters would be Mobil 1 high performance. If its a little too price, Purolator's Pureone filter is a great alternative. The fram/honda or cheaper filters are sufficient for regular 3k-5k oil changes on dino oil but for extended interval changes using synthetic 7.5k-15k, use the better filters.
