factory fog light bulbs

I looking to change my fog light bulbs to one that has a "blue" appearance, light the xeon headlight. Does anyone know who makes this bulb, how much and how hard is it to install, thanks in advance.

u got a few choices...

PIAA 19224
Polarg M-6...both of these are 18 watts compared to the stock 5 watt lamp

PIAA 19169...also 5 watts but is a little more blue

I just ordered the PIAA's 19224 on Wednesday.....I can't remember who, but someone here on the message board suggested it to me. I saw pics of his care and they looked really good. I was concerned about it melting the housing, but he said he hasn't had any problems. When I get them in I will post pics.

Most people (including me) have noticed a "scorch" on the houseing directly above the bulb. Very small and only visible if you get down on your knees and look real hard. YMMV

just make sure, when you install them, wear latex gloves or something so as not to get the oil on your fingers onto the bulbs. you won't be very happy if you do. they'll bubble and get deformed. as far as the scorching on the upper portion right above the bulb, it's no big deal. your car won't catch fire....nothing to worry aboout. i've had the 19224 for about 6 months now and they're just doin fine.

My M6's are still going strong after a year and 4 months with no scorching or burning out or bubbling.
