Okay, first off.....I offically have my first scratched factory rim today

Second I would like some input on changing the factory deck out. I would like to install a new CD player with a half din eq but I had a stereo shop tell me today that they would charge me $200 to build a kit for it!?!?!?? Does this sound right??

Also, they told me that I could use the factory speakers with the amps on them if I used a good enough head unit with 4 volt pre outs, which I have. They said they would convert the RCAs into normal speaker wire and run it to the speakers. They said they would charge about $50 to do this. Has anyone had any experience with this??

And I guess my final question would be, do you think the factory speakers would sound good enough if I were to do this?? I would like to add a sub eventually, probably 1 12" in a sealed enclosure.

Any input?
