Factory car alarm....Driving me crazy!!
All of a sudden on this past Monday afternoon I come out of the store and hear someone's car alarm going off. As I get closer I can see it's my car screaming away. I disengage the alarm no problem. I figure someone bumped it, no big deal. Well I get home, engage the alarm and within 10 minutes the alarm is going off. This time the car is right in my driveway no chance of anyone or anything making it go off. Since then it seems that if I engage the alarm sooner or later the alarm will activate all by its self, making me everyone's favorite neighbor. To solve this problem for now I am disconnecting the positive connection to the battery and locking the door with the key. As you can guess this a pain in the ass to deal with every morning when I go to work.
My question is - Is there anyway I can disconnect the alarm?, remove a fuse?. Anything that will make my car not scream and allow me not to have to disconnect my damn battery everyday. Thanks in advance for any help.

happened to me as well. I changed both door sensors (they're not expensive at the dealer) and problem was solved. The sensors are the rubber buttons which are pressed when the doors are shut. Although old ones looked fine physically something was wrong with them. Takes 10 minutes to replace.

x2 on the sensors. My moms Accord had that problem. Turned out it was the rear passenger sensor.

I believe you want this part
35400-S0A-003
You need the pin itself, the rubber should come with it.
