so basically i m driving everyday without airbags now....... do they know wtf they r doing... i went to 2 different dealers and SRS still comes back up after 1 day. They said "OH maybe it s because of ur cellphone" well i dont think i am the only one who has cellphone in their cars.
and FUCKING Sierra Acura even said "OH we tried 2 fix ur SRS light for the nTH time, this is the last time we r going to try to fix it for u under warrenty." i almost smack that fucker's face... is it my fault that they cant fucking fix the SRS light?
ERRRRR what should i do? i need airbags.. i wanna live

ENGAGE MY VTEC BABY!!!!!!
hey i had teh same prob i had the srs light on for about 2 weeks before the car broke downa dn teh alternator went out and then the battery crapped out. but the time i was without a battery for about 2 more weeks after it crapped out the srs light hasnet come back on. if you can try leaving your car battery terminals both off for a day or so. it will reset everything and all your clock and stereo shit but try it, its worth a shot. cross my fingers mine hasnt come back on since the dealer fixed the car.

Doesn't the "Lemon Law" state that the dealer must try to repair the same problem 3 times, and then it's considered a lemon. You should look into that, maybe a 6spd is in your future.

I think that all auto dealers can refer you to the regional manager, who usually has the power to make things happen for dissatisfied customers. You should get it fixed by Acura... no ifs, ands or buts. This is a safety issue and I once forced a dealer to refund all my purchase price for a Passat (with SRS problems) that they could (would) not fix. The law is on your side.

yeah...i third..or fourth that notion...the dealer shouldnt be like that at all about it...really weird that the service reps would have attitude like that too..all they do is order the parts and try to translate the tech talk(usually unsuccessfully) so most may understand it..none of my reps have ever had attitude..
its like this..ill show up.."i think my tranny's done"..then "oh well better get another on order"

the sensors are under the drivers and passnegers seats. If the airbags have never been dislodged (used from an accident) chances are the airbags will work in the event of an woutomobile accident...however the stupid light stays on because the chips which are under the seats have to be replaced. Once they are replaced the system will clear itself, and the light will no longer illuminate.

I had the same problem...but the passenger side sensor was found to be OK. They said it was probably the cell phone. Ever since, I do not put my cell phone in the seat and the light has not come back on. It's been about 2-3 months since the re-set the light and no problems since then.

This SRS problem happened to me twice, it had to do with the sensors and I somehow had this blue lighting (the ones that go with the music beat) next to it, everytime it was there the SRS lighted on. After the 2nd time, I changed the spot where I put the blue light.
ANd never happened after that. If you have anyhting close to the bottom right part of the steering wheel , that's where one of the sensor is (told by acura) change the location of your electronics elsewhere.
