Experiences with a power polish?
My CL's black, and the paint is still in great condition, but none the less there are those annoying swirls. Apparently a power polish can do wonders, anyone have any feedback on that?
I bought a Porter Cable polished from Lowe's a couple of weeks ago for $93 and order pads and pad holder from www.topoftheline.com.
In the past I have always hand waxed my cars and heard that with a polisher you could burn your paint. I have a black TL-S and it had some swirl marks that I couldn't get out by hand.
Last week, I got some Meguairs swirl remover, show car glaze, and NXT wax and used with the polisher. There is no chance you can damage or burn your paint with the Porter-Cable. Most of the swirl marks are gone and it has the best shine it's ever had.
I would highly recommend getting a Porter-Cable polisher...
